Establishment Unit


Carry out all activities related to maintaining of personal files including recruitment activities, confirm in the posts, salary increments, retirements and promotions.

Services

  • All activities related to personal files including recruitments of officers of Sri Lanka Animal Production and Health Service related to the Department, appointments, confirmations in the posts, promotions, Transfer and Discipline, salary increments, conducting of efficiency bar examinations, transfers, and retirements.
  • Promotions of officers in the Sri Lanka Animal Production and Health to the special grade, appointments to the posts in the special grade, appointments to the Director post in Grade I , appointment to the Specialist post in Grade I, appointments to Deputy Director posts, appointments to the posts of Veterinary Investigation Officer, appointments to the post of Animal quarantine Officer/Research Officer, Veterinary Research Officer, Livestock Officer, updating of the seniority list and make amendments to service minutes.
  • All activities related to personal files including attachments of officers of All Island Service and Combine Service (Administrative Service, Accountancy Service, Engineering Service, Development Officer Service, Management Service, Driver, Information Technology Officer, Office Assistant) to work places, activities related to transfers, retirements, salary increments, promotions.
  • All activities related to personal files including recruitments of officers of Sri Lanka Technological Service, recruitments to departmental posts, confirmations in the posts, salary increments, retirements, internal transfers and all activities related to efficiency bar examinations.
  • All activities related to personal files including recruitments to the posts of, Primary Non-Technical, Primary Semi Technical, etc Departmental Designation ,confirmations in the posts, salary increments, promotions retirements, internal transfers and all activities related to efficiency bar examinations.
  • Activities related to disciplinary matter Of  Departmental Post And Other of the department post
  • Activities related to trade unions of officers in the Animal Production and Health Service and other department post

 

Monitoring Unit


Issuing of instructions and guidelines required to carry out administration activities of the Dept. of Animal Production and Health in compliance with government policies and relevant rules/regulations are done by the Establishment Unit and general administration decisions regarding the department are also taken by this unit.

 

Services

  • Granting recommendations for applications for property loans, loan to relieve from encumbrances, distress loan, bicycle loan, motor cycle loan in order to obtain approval and all activities related to approvals.
  • Activities related to security deposits of relevant posts and Releasing Security deposit  requests related to the same.
  • Activities related to security services in the head office and sub unites of the department in order to carry out security service properly.
  • Activities related to welfare of the staff of the administration division, supervision of activities of the canteen in the department premises and the janitorial services.
  • Legal activities related to the department (legal activities related to administration of the department, complaints in respect of human rights, land and quarters of the department and all institutes of the department)
  • Activities related to maintenance of the cadre of the department and creation of new posts.
  • Duties related to FR inspections regarding the damages and losses of the department.
  • Activities related to the payments of allowances of the officers of the department (Over time allowance less than 100 h/days’ pay/ telephone allowance/uniform allowance/airport allowance/farms allowance/executive officers’ allowance) and preparation of office identity cards.
  • Compilation of the Citizen’s Charter and other related activities.
  • Activities related to the record room of the department.
  • Acquisition activities of the lands/buildings of the department and related activities as well as activities related to quarters and official vehicles.

 

 

Other Activities

  • Activities related to payments of electricity/water/telephone/wastewater bills of the head office and tax payments of the institutes under the purview of department.
  • Activities related to arrangements of state ceremonies.
  • Activities related to the receiving and sending posts of the administration division, monitoring activities related to postal impress, formal maintenance and systematic distribution of the same.
